In the mid-1980s, a series of Michigan automobile license plates with UPJ on them were available in the Kalamazoo and Portage offices only. There would have been 999 of these plates. The availability of this plate was communicated within Upjohn so any employee could ask for a UPJ plate. An enterprising Upjohn salesman in Pennsylvania used the Xanax plate and in 2018 I bought the Michigan UPJOHN plate!
