The photo below is of an Upjohn Company group in the mid to late 1940s at a New York club called "Memories of Billy Rose's Diamond Horseshoe". This club was in the basement of the Paramount Hotel and has a long and interesting history. Upjohn had a very important sales office in New Yoek City from an early date. A.J.Cushman from Kalamazoo is on the far left and I'm sure it was the practice to take visitors to the NYC office out in the evening for some big-city entertainment. A.J.Cushman's grandson sent this photo to me.

Ella Blade donated the photos below from the 1930's. There are names on the backs of many of these prints and those are included here too. The manufacturing locations shown would most likely have been in the Building 25 manufacturing tower building in Downtown Kalamazoo. Manufacturing did not move to Portage until the 1950's.

In 2023 Carol Orris bought this portrait of Lawrence N. Upjohn,  who was the CEO of The Upjohn Company in the 1940s.
