In 1965,
The Upjohn Company created a savings plan for employees. At
first, there were only two options with a 50% corporation
match of Upjohn stock but as
time went on the inestment vehicles were diversified. Today
these type of savings plans are known as 401K plans. The
documents below from 1965 and 1972 describe the plan in
those early years. These were
