The practice of getting a group photo of all new employees at the Kalamazoo and Portage Upjohn sites ended in the mid-1970s. There were so many new hires it just wasn't practical anymore. Individual operations did continue to get new employee group photos. For example, the Control Division was doing it into the early 1980s.
