The Upjohn Art Collection

W.E.Upjohn was a collector of art. There were many pieces displayed in the White Office, his office building located in the Downtown Kalamazoo. Art moved to the new Headquarters Building in the 1930's and finally to Portage Building 88 in the 1960's. More art was needed for Building 298 and Building 300 in the 1980's. At peak the collection was over 1100 pieces. The most treasured works were always the Norman Rockwells.
