This motivational item was used by The Upjohn Company for the launch of Rogaine in 1988. The engraved wooden box featured the autographs of Apollo 8 & 13 astronaut James Lovell and Dennis Conner, Captain of Stars & Stripes, 1987 America’s Cup. The box also contains a ‘Call for Leadership’ letter from Upjohn VP of Domestic Pharmaceutical Sales and a Boatswane's Call - a symbol of nautical respect and leadership. It is not known how many of these boxes were produced but I'm guessing 25 to 50. They were likely given to leaders in the hair-growing industry.
