Donald Gilmore, CEO of The Upjohn Company in the 1940s and early 1950s was firm friends with Walt Disney. They had winter homes next to one another in Palm Springs, California. In mid-September 1964 Walt paid a visit to the Gilmores in Kalamazoo. The bottom two photos were taken in Building 88, the Upjohn headquarters building in Portage.
