In early 2020 I went for a drive with the country with my good friend Joyce. My goal was to take some photos of Brook Lodge from the road. As I was snapping away, the Brook Lodge caretaker just happened to be driving by and stopped. The first thing he said was "Do you want to buy the place?". I told him "No" and explained that I was the Upjohn historian. He agreed to let me look around the site. Brook Lodge is not currently open for any access unless you're a potential buyer. The buildings are boarded up but still in pretty good shape and the grounds are well-kept. Photos of the interiors were taken through windows or doors. Walking around the site brought back a lot of great memories from Upjohn conferences and meetings during the 1980's and 1990's. Here's a link to a 2020 Battle Creek Enquirer article about Brook Lodge.
